Forth Valley Creative Learning is a new collaboration between Education in Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire, creating opportunities together to explore creativity and creative learning through creative conversations, talks, CPD and networks.

Case Studies

Matthew Sowerby and Paul Gorman, two creative practitioners that work
regularly in Forth Valley Schools, discuss their collaborative work with
creativity in schools in the following video case study produced for
Creative Scotland and Artworks.
Through 2014/15 Paul and Matthew worked with schools in Forth Valley to
explore ‘What is creativity in a school?’  to understand what a
creative school entails they created an experiment into an
individual’s application of creativity. This action-based research
project created an intervention to assist our understanding of what
happens when creativity is actively applied in a classroom.

A report called ‘Raising Attainment Through Pupil Engagement’ about the
work was also written
